Q. Is it true that Steve began singing during his breast-feeding years and hasn't stopped since?

A. Yes. It was the natural breast milk which gave him his thick, rich voice.

Q. How long has Bill been working on a novel?

A. Nearly his whole adult life. He seems to go from project to project in five year intervals. Nothing seems to get quite finished to the point it can be marketed.

Q. Does Nora really want to be an engineer?
A. We might know after she finishes Engineering camp at Notre Dame.

Q. Is it true that Charlie started out as an engineer?
A. Yes, but he never really declared engineering as a major. That changed after First Year Studies ended.

Q. Did Leah really graduate from college?
A. Yes. But she liked Saint Mary's so much she decided to go another fourteen months and get a second degree--a BSN in nursing.

Q. When did Debbie (mom) become a vegetarian?
A. In 1971.

Q. Are all the family members vegetarians, or just the ones with "Holden" in their name?
A. One of the ones with Corbett in their name eats meat, but only occasionally.

Q. Why is the name hyphenated?

A. When Bill Corbett and Debbie Holden were married in 1973 Debbie decided to keep her maiden name. She and Hillary were of like minds, then. But unlike Hillary, Debbie never capitulated for political gain. When the kids came, the name thing seemed like a good idea at the time. After all, Bill and Debbie were so far ahead of the trend, it took the IRS three years to get their individual names correct on the tax forms!
