Give Blood
I gave blood for the first time yesterday. It was actually really easy. I felt a little prick in my arm no worse than a honeybee sting and that was it.
Now, I usually don't go around campainging, but giving blood is one of the best things to do if you'd like to do something for society but can never find the time. It took me a little less than an hour to complete the entire process. Giving blood can save up to three lives each time you donate. Believe me, no one used to be more scared of needles than me, but I got over it. Who am I to stand in the way of life just because of some petty fear or personal reason. Buck up and do it. You never know, you may need blood someday, and you know what they say....karma.
