So Much to Type, So Little Time
Wow, a lot has happened since my last post. Most importantly, I have a new job! Apparently I start on Monday, which means instead of two weeks notice I was able to give two days. But my old producer worked it out with my new one, so it looks like I'm set. I'll be starting on Monday with my new job on the lot. That's right, no more satellite buildings--I'll be in the middle of it all. Actually most people I've worked with say they prefer not being on the lot, but since it's new for me I'm sure I'll enjoy it. More later on that.
It's also National Novel Writing Month, which means it's time to write that novel you've always thought about but never the time (or the will) to write. I'm running a little behind schedule--I should be writing at a rate of 1670 words per day but I've been a bit of a slow-poke. I guess it's time to catch up. Do the words in my weblog count towards my total?

Charlie, congrats on the new job and getting on the lot! I'm happy for you!
Wow, Charlie! What great news! In your previous post, you mentioned something about trying to find out as much as you could (like advice) from more experinced co-workers. I meant to ask a few days ago, but no. And how FUN to be on the Disney lot! Sure, others are bored with it now, but I'm sure at SOME point they, too, were thrilled with the opportunity. If Julie Andrews ever crosses your path, tell her hello for me.
The whole Novel Writing Month thing is the missing piece to the puzzle. Andy told me that he was starting a writing project on the 1st, but failed to tell me that he was inspired by it being August. Then yesterday Jennifer tells me SHE'S writing a novel. I figured there must be something in the South Bend water...now it has been made clear. Gosh, do I need write a novel?
CHHARRLLIEE! Congrats on your new job. Sounds exciting!
Speaking of novels, it seems to have influenced my friend as well. But he's been working on his novel at mid-July, after reading Harry Potter. Haha, well that was just interesting to hear about National Novel Month. Ok, see ya!
